The 40th Anniversary Celebration!

Mike & Sandy's 40th Anniversary party was this past Saturday night and it was a success! It was nice to be able to help with putting on the party - and I think Mike & Sandy enjoyed it. From what I could tell, a good time was had by all!

Here are a few sights of the day/evening - from our camera at least:

Guest book tablePicture boards that we put together

Banner & table decorations

The cake

Grandma Schaff was able to make it for dinner and part of the social. I heard she had a 2:00 a.m. curfew!

We had selected wine to be made for the party at the Vintner's Cellar in Bismarck about a month ago. Once the wine was made, we went to bottle it and design the label this past week. The wine flavor was raspberry rhubarb:

That looks like T-R-O-U-B-L-E

Mike's brother dedicated a song - "Remember When" by Alan Jackson to Mike & Sandy for their anniversary since he and his wife were unable to make it. The grandkids decided that Grandpa and Grandma had to get out there to dance with them during the song. It was very sweet.

Jay hooked the girls up with the "Chicken Dance" song:

And also with the "Hokey Pokey"

Put your right hip in...

Nick talked Sandy into a dance with him as well

Apparently something very funny was being said!

Julie giving Val & Carrie dance lessons:

These are just some of the pictures from the night. Many people could make it, which made for a nice celebration!
